Careers

“Expertly developing the musician in everyone through joyful music education.” Every word in our mission statement has purpose and meaning.

Founded in 2006, by a Hilliard City Schools music teacher, Allegro Studios was designed to be a place where every student can get high-quality, caring, and enthusiastic lessons. We focus first on the student, using tested and proven curriculum, lesson planning, and great music. Allegro Studios was also designed to be a place where great teachers, those who have a true love of learning, are focused on best teaching practices, and want all students to experience success and a develop a lifelong love of great music, can focus on teaching and not get bogged down with scheduling, bookkeeping, and collecting payments.

What we are NOT: We are not contractors renting space in a music store, we are not little old ladies teaching out of their living rooms, we are not untrained college students dispatched by an in-your-home service, and we are not doing this on the side until we can really “make it bigtime” as performers. We already are performers, but we are first professional instructors; it is our chosen and beloved career. Together we can offer so much more than the typical private lesson or music store could ever provide. Every one of us at Allegro can whole-heartedly agree to our mission: Expertly developing the musician in everyone through joyful music education.

We're always interested in great teachers who can help us with this important work.
